Good morning. . . good evening

After my day spent in the river photographing bridge reflections, I decided to stay on dry land for my next shots !

This first one was taken in the morning at a roundabout in the town of Ceret where I live:

Good morning. . . good evening
I added a slightly warming colour but masked out the water to make it whiter and more dominant, perhaps a slight vignette would have achieved the same thing. . .?

This second one was taken in the evening just after sundown at the local wine chateau "Aubry", a few minutes cycle ride from the town:

Good morning. . . good evening
I had to merge a few shots to get the foreground, chateau, and sky in some sort of balance, then I tweaked a few layers and Its pretty close to how it looked last night but it somehow 'feels' overworked. Perhaps it's just that I know how long I spent !!
    C&C welcome please

    1. Very good composition, forced rendition and needs keystone adjustment.
    I like the tinted monochrome.

2.Again, very good composition. The level adjustments done on the sky
are also applied to tree tops and castle… this needs severe practice!

    Magnifique région!

Interesting shots, I like the first image for the tonal effects and architecture.

I like the first - great perspective in the shot.

I would crop the second image a fraction tighter at the bottom. There is quite a bit of greenery there which tends to distract from the 'more important' areas. And the very bottom is out of focus anyway.

Then a balancing amount from the sides, possibly just the left side?
