This is my favorite time of year for many reasons. One of which is a "target rich environment" for photographers. The colors in my neck of the woods haven't really started getting good yet, but, it won't be long. Here is a shot I took last year right out in my backyard. I had just bought my 17-40 lens and wanted to try it out. I think I broke it in quite well.
