    Pigeon, et al...

OK...I am not going to torture you all with my bad shots while vacationing so if these shots are stressful, just leave it be...C&C welcome...OK...take note I was taking the expression of Tucker here not my husband so I decided to cut his head off (intentionally, in the shot, that was...) and the angler I realized I cut her shoes off too..to late...she wasn't there this morning when I went there...my saga will continue in another posts...so you do not end up hating me...

We were at the deck of the house yesterday, me with my camera and Tucker with this growl and bark system. I pointed to him a birdie by the marina and asked him if he can help me. He looked at me with an askance face, ears point and looked at the bird. He growled…I said no growl, just bark. I want the bird to fly so I can take pictures (pointing to my camera). He barked…and barked he did. The bird looked at him and stayed there. Tucker gave up, went to the door and he came in and slumped down. Later on I was in my laptop and he barked then ran to me then ran back to the glass window and showed me this birdie who also doesn't want to fly away…I took 4 shots and converted this one to B/W. I gave up on it flying away because it decided to stay there for a long time. This shot is from the glass window.

    1. Pigeon...somebody must own this one or it is a protected specie...

    Pigeon, et al...

    2. I gave up…went down Dock St. very late with the tide already in, fishermen gone but I spied this lady who had been angling. She yelled at her companion from another area when she caught something…Nothing to crow home about but it must have been her first fish by the look of her…

    Pigeon, et al...

    3. The kids around decided to play with Tucker. Here is one of them cutie one. They were moving and running so much, Tucker was confused. He is more of an "adult" dog and do not know what to make of kids...wondering what they really are up to. Got hubby to come and pick me up so I can use my camera without worry about Tucker wandering about...

I especially like #2 Isabel, nice patterns and colors. The lady doesn't look very excited I don't know why, but the fish looks just like a fish on the hook .

Tucker seems healthy in the photo, I hope he is doing fine

Nice series, hopefully Tucker isn't reliving hunting strategies.

    Hi Izzie,

Just to say that I think the pigeon image is very nicely composed. Great focus on the eye, and a lovely background. I'd prefer it in colour but that is my personal preference.

Izzie, I think the 2nd shot would be improved by cropping a slice from teh left hand side - perhaps just to the left of the building with the dark roof, thereby removing most of the building with the bright blue roof. This would focus attention more on the woman and her expression.

I like the 3rd. I interpret Tucker's expression as having exactly the thoughts that you have described.

Dear Binnur, Kim and John...thank you for your best wishes for Tucker...he is doing fine at the moment with high protein, high oil content diet which I invented for him. Last week we have 10 lumps around his body, when we went to the doctor day before we left, within that week, there were three left. I was worried about his tail so his oncologist gave him another chemo shot that day...Yesterday he only have that lump on his tail left...with the help of family and friends praying for a miracle for him, we are hoping he will continue on for us although because of his ailment, I think we are creating a hard-headed monster of a dog. All is well so far, touch wood. We are not giving up on him -- not yet...

Tucker is always careful about kids...he backs off them unlike adult ones whom he likes licking to death...

About the roof...I love that place so I included it in the shot -- it will remind me of where we had dinner that night with friends...LOL

Thanks Greg...I knew I can always rely on you to hit me on the chin when you need to...

Izzie, thanks for sharing those vacation shots for it give us an indication of who you are.
I do like the pigeon color shot. Tucker looks like my kind of dawg.

OK...so the verdict here is I should stick to colour and learn more of the B/W...all right guys. Thanks. Got the picture...

Thanks Chauncey...for shooting that bird from the glass, I thought I did right for once in my life in B/W...and yes, Tucker is a good dog. We will surely missed him when he goes. I do not want to train another dog to talk to me. He is a dear companion and can follow instructions very well (after thinking about it, that is...) He is a good communicator and a good 9PM singer too. We just can't do singing in a hotel so he has his Braunswieger to compensate for those missed moments when we are not at home...
