Well...the only place I have ever seen a moose before was in a zoo, so do not be too hard on yourself...Taking and having a good sharp one is better than none.

(Saying something like what you were doing at the time, how you reach the place to take this shot, helps soften down the atmosphere a bit. Light joking short sharp clipping does it too. I am only advising on taking a different route so you will get more comments and feedback...in short, be more positive...)

well your right i could have said more so... other then it's not the best angle of her .. we drove into Grand Teton NP at about 1pm and she was just standing there next to the road just past the entrance -stopping traffic and posing for pics

She must be the (?) great grand-daughter of the one that was there in 1990 doing the same thing. I stopped my rented car to take a picture and some &^%$£% drove in to the back of me!!!

Have had the pleasure of meeting up with some of these on my trips out west.

You really don't know how large they are until you get close.
