Hi Paul, your first take is very cool… and I like the "panorama" crop of it.
The second shot is well composed but should be revisited at an other time
of the day since the light is quite harsh!

Hi Paul. I like #1 very much and #2 looks like a promising place for different compositions. If it is somewhere near where you live, I would suggest you should enjoy shooting more of it

Kodiak.....I hear you, I might go back for the second one in a few weeks. Maybe have more colour on the trees then, perhaps in the morning would be good.
Binnur.....It would be nice to get some different angles. Not sure if it can be done as I had to scamper down a steep embankment and it is all swampy there. I'll have to check to see if I can find a different access point.
