    John,same here,they zoom straight to where ever they go,I placed branch overhanging slow moving water,made a makeshift hide from branches, set up gear, focus on branch,and wait,if its going to land it will land on branch,caught one last year with small fish in its mouth good luck,David,Izzie,Vaez,thanks for views and comments

    Maybe try tying a fish to the branch to coax them

    If this is a place you can return to, you might be able to catch him in better light. The ones around here tend to frequent the same spots and use the same perches to watch for fish. With patience, you can learn his habits and find him fishing when the light is right.

    Terri,same here,seems to perch on same branch,I,ve been trying to catch him in flight just as he lands,no joy
