    Moon flower

Also known as Jimson weed, Devil's trumpet, and assorted others. It's in the nightshade family.

Too small to be appreciated but looking good at first glance!
Better flash diffusion should have been used, IMO.

Can you be more explicit? You can get the full size on my Flickr account by clicking on it, and I simply do not understand what you mean by "better" diffusion; it looks fine to me.

When I click on it, I get a litebox with a picture of the same size.

What I mean, Tom, is that even at the small available, I see that the
style, anthers, and filament do have a sharp shadow… pale but sharp.
A better diffusion of the light source could have taken care of it so that
    no shadow is perceptible.

Got it! I thought you could get the original size by clicking on the posted one but I guess not. Maybe I should have blocked the light with my body and that would have done better at erasing the shadows than the fill-flash. Thanks much for the advice. And here, I hope, is the original size:

If you click on the words "Moon flower" under the image, it takes you to the full Flickr image.

It is much more easier to see it here at CiC via the Tinypic if you upload it at 1200 px on the widest side...just a suggestion...

Thanks, Izzie. I'll do that from now on.
