I have been trying for months to figure out how to capture this type of flower.

I was a little unhappy with the focus but it does seemed to have worked well.

I am pleased with how the colpours and the textures mixed so well. Simple does have a beauty all its own.

I like this a lot. Everything seems to be right to get such good definition of the edges of petals and leaves, which I find difficult to achieve.

This flower is about 15 m long. I framed the shot with a touch of telephoto and put the cross-hairs as close to the center as I could get it. If memory serves the macro setting was used for sharpness.
