Wine Grower's Property in Autumn by OLIVIER

In the working contract we have with the winegrower, 3 items are left to do:
• the autumn scenes… this is today's post,
• the red wine harvest… that should come in the next week, and
• the winter scenes, hopefully with snow (this is not Canada!).

So, Olivier and I went to photograph some autumn scenes of the wine
gardens, the property, and some details that like so much we do.

These are all very good but I especially like the first one. The composition with the foreground plant, a clear view of the house and the grapes that tell me where we are. It's a beautiful scene, well captured!

Thank you Hélène, my father said always that I should be happy that he place
my photos with his because he thinks that I am learning last. I see with your

They are images that are made with feeling.

Hey Donald, I will answer for Olivier (he's in bed!).

I give him all the freedom to use every trick in the book, any gear he may
wish to use, and take all the time he will need. His greatest motivation and
satisfaction is when I place with pride his photograph among mine in the
final presentation to the clients.

… "made with feeling." I will tell him that, though I know very well that I am
more happy with this comment as he is not in the age to appreciate this kind
of observation.
