My first panorama: Crawford's notch again

I've never done a panorama before, so I tried stitching together two shots I had from Crawford Notch, NH, again on the same cloudy day. C&C welcome, of course.

Gorgeous colors and reflections, Dan. I've never had much luck with my panoramas. This one looks like it worked good. Looks like you had the same weather I did while out catching the autumn colors.

Beautiful image Dan. I too, love the colours and reflections, and the dreamy clouds along the mountain top.

What a beautiful scene Dan. I think that this shot is the best of the three that you have posted of this area so far. The grander scale really provides a sense of the atmosphere on the place.

    I love it!

Stitching worked well, and superb colours. Like the composition too. I wonder if the mist could be toned down a shade>

Thanks, everyone. After I posted this, I remembered something I should have been doing. Images taken in circumstances like this lack contrast, so a lot of the work is luminosity adjustments. I was frustrated by the fact that I was generating an appearance of increased saturation, even though I did not increase the saturation manually. I added only a modest amount of vibrance to some. After hours working on these, I remembered why: increasing contrast in the RGB channels increases saturation. The solution is to adjust contrast in layers, not in Lightroom, and change the blend mode from normal to luminosity. I remembered this article, which I read a long time ago. Back to the drawing board to experiment some more.

This is "Manorama" (that in which mind revels: Malayalam, my mother tongue)
