Midday Gun Salute Valetta Malta
Just returned from a work/break to Malta......slightly changed from my last visit 34 years ago when I was 18....yes I can remember that far back. Parts of it resemble Magaluf less the sandy beaches, the skyline dominated by huge cranes but some areas retain the historical and magical parts that just about make it a place to visit, a shame that the TV in the 5* Hotel Excelsior was 1% British and 95 % Arabic may have something to do with the increase in Casinos and Strip Clubs!!!!!

I agree with the action shots, Joanne...very graphic. I almost hear the big bang! in #2...as it went off.

Gee, that was really good timing to capture the 2nd shot, Joanne, with the flame blowing out of the canon. And I can feel the tension in the guy's body in the first one. Good set.

You should have had a word with him and asked him to keep his head up as he pulled the firing cord. Talk about 'capturing the moment.' You really nailed it here.
