Fall Colours in Thunder Bay- Here and Gone

Hello All: The fall colours are pretty well done now in my neck of the woods. It just doesn't last long enough... Most of the leaves will be gone by mid October. I know that there is not too much originality in these images, but I feel compelled to share them anyway. When I first arranged them for posting, I thought that things looked a bit over saturated, but they were all shot in RAW with some adjustment to contrast, sharpening, and shadow lifting where needed. There were no colour adjustments. Any advice on processing would be gratefully received.

    Hi Susan J,

    Your excursion was well worthwhile!
As I look at the histogram of #2, I see that your colours could be
    somewhat punchier… something like…

All very nice, I think the reflection of the sky looks better than the actual in the first image. The colors don't look over saturated to me at all. I especially like #4.

They basically look OK to me, Suzan, except #1 where that heavy looking branch in the top right corner could be cropped and or cloned away.

Some could take a little bit of extra pop if required, but the more muted pastel look is preferred by many people.
