Lighting
There were some comments on this area a while ago now and I ordered some 950 tubes of an Irish company. Good job I paid via paypal. They should have arrived on the Monday after I ordered them. Then another Monday and so on until I was ignored so I raised a dispute on paypal . Friday or Monday this time but nothing came so I escalated the dispute. It all arrived shortly after tracked etc.
Now I have them I have found why I couldn't find any high cri tubes anywhere else. They have sent Philips Master Delux TLD 58w/950. I had no real idea what to search for so some might find this info useful. I suspect these tubes are some what more expensive than the ones I ordered hence the delay in sending them. They appear to be for colour matching in museums etc.

Re: Lighting
I was thinking of those cylindrical containers that good bottles of whiskey come in. 950 tubes. Indeed!

I need to change one of our strip lights so thought I would give high cri a go.
This all relates to a thread that came up some months ago. We do have a lighting engineer on here and he explained the designations. Problem - not all manufacturers use the same designations. The 950 relates to cri.
I also posted a link to this particular Irish retailer - looks like it is not a good idea to use them. They even tried bouncing my emails - marking them undeliverable.
