Dark Paths & Silver Light - Exploring Townsville's Ross River

Hello, haven't posted here for a while.

Here's a few images from one of my more recent projects, Dark Paths and Silver Light.
Shot around the banks of the Ross River with an IR modified camera.

Good stuff Matt. A lot of IR photography looks quite un-natural to me but not these. They work very well indeed IMO.

Wandering around the banks of Ross river at night - hmm you wouldn't get me doing that as I'd be too worried about those snappy thimgs !

I like the first four, Matt. They remind very much of the illustrations in children's books - er, from my era, that is.

Thanks Dave. Only freshwater crocs in this part of the river above the weirs - they don't pose any danger.

I got the IR camera specifically to enhance my mono landscapes. I'm not fussed on some of the 'false colour' IR shots one often sees.

Thanks Footloose. Are we allowed to ask what era?

    Thanks David...er ....I think

This year has been a funny one. Shot a lot of IR (landscapes & cemetery) and heaps of sport ( athletics, netball, rowing, soccer, touch football) Not a lot of 'normal' landscape.
