    Lonely Tree

Missed the peak of Autumn color in Yellowstone NP. This lonely cottonwood in the Lamar Valley still had some yellow left.

I like it too Steve but is it my monitor or does it have a bit of a blue cast? I wonder if you warmed it up a bit if the sense of autumn would be enhanced?

Nope… your monitor is just fine Shane.

Thanks for the comments. Maybe it's my monitor. I'll have another look at the image.

I adjusted the white balance. I should probably adjust my eyes too.

IMO this tree deserves a closer shot because it has a very nice shape and lovely yellow color

Hmmm, I thought the 'blue cast' was the oil from the trees. I agree with Binnur, though Steve. I wonder if you could get closer to the tree so that is is framed agains the blue / green of the trees in the background rather than the yellowy grass?

Thanks Binnur, Greg, and Neville. I'll check and see if I have a closer image.
