Are they normally that 'tame' Brian?
Or is it because you found it at night when it could fly?

It was definitely a combination of factors. The house lights attracted it and then our flashlight mesmerized it. But it was NOT tame. At one point it was trapped and I tried gently to free it. The beasty bit me. Myra offered it her hand and it climbed right on. Then I got these shots. I have an almost head on shot I will be posting and it is entirely different. I also have a shot of this dragonfly and a cicada on my pant leg which I may post.
