Monks in Bhutan
I haven't had any internet access for the past few days, so I thought I would post a few shots I got of monks in Bhutan. Rather like street photography, but the setting was within the monastery grounds.
These will be the last images from Bhutan for now. We have left that country and are now in the North-East States of India (Assam and Arunchal Pradesh) and hope to get some images of some of the tribes that live in this area of the world...

Nice weather you got there!
A monk playing superman #1, an old monk smiling like a shy child #2 and
…well this one looks like a monk to me: serious and his devotion is underlined
by the book #3.
No weak shots there but the 3rd one is the strongest!
Assam? …tell & show us more about the tea!!!

Re: Monks in Bhutan
Manfred, I really like how you shoot people on your travels. Far too many photographers bring home only shots of flowers, trees and brick and mortar subjects and, of course, those darned boring sunsets. You would think that there are no people living in the areas that they visit...

Richard, I think Manfred is into "a way of life" outside of our norm. I have thoroughly enjoyed your series, your travel like as if I am there with you in some steps of the way...wonderful and different.
