Happy to be back in Connecticut - C&C Welcomed

Sometimes I take for granted how beautiful my home state is - after spending 4 days in North Carolina without my camera, I was more than happy to hit the CT roads for a photo adventure today!

Two and Three remind me of Rhode Island (where I was born) in the Fall. Scenery with a sense of home-style comfort!

Nice Series Kim. I envy you the place and the autumn colours. Must get out and try for some Autumn shots here.

Kim...after your experience, I am glad you are home and hosed now, as we Aussies say. No matter how long and no matter how far you go from home, your own bed and pillow is delighted to welcome you no matter what time of day...pray do tell me, my lady -- why North Carolina?

Anyway ... don't know why #1 no matter how sharp it is, the building lacking in angle looks flat ...
#2 is very very good composition, but to my eyes, it needs a slight rotation to the right.
And last but not least -- love this one best. Autumn colours really softens me up in a way...even the driftwoods on those two areas of the shot looks good.

Yes, was happy to see my bed and pillow. Went to NC because my husband and I were thinking of moving someplace with less harsh winters. My arm/hand doesn't do well in the cold. Tryon, NC is horse country, so that's why I went down to explore. It's not an option for us - much too rural.

Your comment on #1 is extremely helpful Izzie - thank you. I have another barn with angles - I haven't pp that one yet. I'll take another look at #2. Glad you enjoyed the 3rd :-)
