Basilica of San Calimero in Milan, Italy

Some pictures of the Church of San Calimero (Milan, Italy). It is of very ancient origin. Suffice it to say that the bishop of Milan Lorenzo began its restoration at the end of the fifth century! Unfortunately it was completely renovated in the nineteenth century and, according to the fashion of that time, all evidences of the past were canceled, to return the church to an alleged medieval purity. Only the crypt preserved its sixteenth century appearance.
