Nice image Gary, well captured!

Gorgeous layers!
I like the composition, colours, patterns, and mystery but I'm not so fond of the eye grabbing commercial advertisement.
Unfortunately I'm fed up of having pictures stolen from the internet, so after many years without, I took the decision to add a visible watermark to my images.
I wish it wasn't necessary but it does seem to have reduced the problem.
My photography is non commercial in nature but I still don't want other people, like the National Trust for one example, making money from my work without paying me for it.
That's great Wayland - and different. The way you have used the intersection of the two roads bottom centre is inspired.
I occasionally check to see if any one has stolen my images using the Google facility but I've detected none so far. Don't know whether to feel slightly miffed or not. My photography clearly doesn't appeal.![]()

Wayland...interesting shot. Is this multiple exposure?
No, it's pretty straight really.
Not even much PP after LightRoom.
The mist was washing in and out like an ethereal tide so I was just shooting views from the hill and every shot was different.
Excellent captures Gary, all very atmospheric.
Great images![]()
Beautiful captures Gary.
Both Google and Tin Eye missed my shot that the National Trust were using.
In the end I was tipped off by someone that knew my work and just stumbled across it.
They had profited from it for over a year and when confronted, just gave me a lame excuse and took it down with no offer of recompense.
They knew darned well that I couldn't afford to go up against their legal department even though it was a clear case.
It was that that made me finally put a watermark on my images. I hate the fact that I need to do it because I much prefer the pictures without but I'll be dammed if I make it that easy for them again.
