Busy Bee's
Never get tired of shooting bee's. Some of the most interesting little creatures on the planet in my opinion. These little guys were so caught up in feeding that they pretty much let me stroke them.
Shot using a Canon 7D with Canon 24-105mm +13mm and 21mm extension tubes.
C&C welcome.

Re: Busy Bee's
Definitely not your average bee shots. I like the way you have composed these, Toby.

More aliens...I like the composition too and the face of #2 -- he's so serious looking...

Re: Busy Bee's
I've gotten them to crawl onto my fingers using a drop of honey for bait...
you could do the same thing to improve your background.

Re: Busy Bee's
Hello Tobias: I also like to shoot bees, but always have a tough time finding one that will sit still. I especially like the composition of the second shot along with the muted pastel colours in the plant. Good job.
