Ring Billed Gulls

Caught some ring billed gulls today with a Canon 1D Mk II N and Sigma 100-300 f/4 + 1.4 TC.

Great accomplishment of shooting "bif". The last is my favorite as the background is very pleasant and the bird is flying into the screen, and towards you slightly. I also think the bird looks good in that one as does the bird in the first, though in that image the BG is distracting and not quite complimentary overall.

Sea gulls flight is very aerodynamic...I like the way they glide...good captures. You did better than my shots.

Three nice shots but the third is my pick as well. Nice quality with the 1.4x. I have one but never managed a decent shot with it on my Nikon 70-300mm.
