Greg, I did a shot like this a few week ago. Yours is better because of the two vertical thinner lines on the left. I will go back and try something

Binnur, I had to google 'jalousie"
Apparently a jalousie is what I know as 'louvres' -- which I haven't seen since I was a kid. I think this is probably a modern version of a jalousie.
Izzie, it is about 6 stories up on the side of a residential building that is still under construction. I couldn't make out what it was from the ground, but I thought the shadows had potential.
Ole, it was the vertical lines breaking up the pattern that inspired me to work on the image
