African Fruit Beetle
Found this lovely guy sitting on a strelitzia in my garden yesterday.
Shot using a Canon 7D and 100mm macro lens with a 13mm extension tube.
C&C welcome!

Tobias...the food shot closeup is very well done but I like #2 for seeing what it really looks like...Very nice and colourful and sharp and all that kind of closeup, I see that it is a happy one with a smiling face...

re: African Fruit Beetle
Great captures Tobias,
I agree that "#1" (the second image, as I type) is worth having as the 'scene setter', followed by "#2", which is, as I type, the first image above.
Perhaps edit the original post and reverse their display order, as your numbering suggests was the intended order?
Cheers, Dave

Re: African Fruit Beetle
Thanks everyone.
@Izzie, the first shot was actually a happy accident but I thought it looked quite interesting
@Dave, Sorry about that the numbers are just how I label them after I have edited the images, I put the #1 Image last because I thought I should save the best for last so to speak.
