I think it was the textures of peeling and streaked paint that first caught my eye.

The lighting would be the one that attracted me here apart from questions in my mind regarding who used to own this place...the many "whys" of the reason for the demise of the place, long thoughts, meaningful or not, answereable or not but questions begging answers that may not be forcoming...the porch might have welcomed many visitors and sheltered many from the rain at some stage...worth the thoughts, worth the shot.
