It was is high end professional tool with a limited appeal that has been replaced with a newer model.
If you need the new one you'll buy it if you don't you'll stick with it until it stops functioning.
I don't see the problem unless you are pretending to be a pro and aren't making money from your equipment.
The D800 – 800E is replaced by the D810. Why not?![]()
