    Near dead moth on a desolate patch of dirt? (:

    Nevertheless I think you captured the beauty and soft detail of the moths abdomen beautifully. I almost want to pet it. I also adore the lines created by the wings and abdomen leading to the antennae. Lovely colours and light, too.

    Actually on one of our stone sidewalks and less than half an hour later he or she had passed on. I did pet it but only when I moved her to a leaf so the ants would not get her. The lines and light are nice. I worked my way around her and this was the best shot.
