What a pityful looking dog! I wish it is owned by someone nice...

Re: Tired Old Dog
Good subject, Matt, but I think it needs more context. ie I feel it is framed / cropped a bit to tight.

Re: Tired Old Dog
Hi Matt: Don't you just wish that sometimes animals could talk so they could tell their stories. I'm sure this old guy would have a few tales to share. I like the way the old dog is juxtaposed with the old crumbling wall. It seems fitting somehow.

Re: Tired Old Dog
Gorgeous light! In addition to Greg's idea of including more information in the image, I would like the shot to have been made from the height of the dog's head. Doing so would have made more of a connection between the dog and the viewer; the current image makes the viewer more of a distant observer rather than someone who has been brought into the scene.

Re: Tired Old Dog
Thanks for the feedback guys, unfortunately I haven't really cropped the image that much.
Mike: Interesting point there, I've haven't really photographed many animals but shooting at the dogs eye level would definitely of made a more interesting image. I'll remember that for next time
