    Red Berries at Dawn

Although I was looking to get some fall foliage images, the dew on these red berries captured my imagination.

    Red Berries at Dawn

I had hoped to see a bird feasting on the berries but as it appeared that none had been touched, perhaps they aren't safe to eat?

That scene is obviously fraught with potential over exposure areas. But you have managed to overcome that issue and have produced a good well balanced image.

I loved the colour of the berries Is there a way of making the dew drops more visible with PP ? IMO it would look good

A Curves Adjustment Layer to boost the highlights, plus a mask to select which areas are affected would certainly do that.

Super hot color works well with foliage. Nice capture.

There is a lot more potentials than just the pretty berries -- especially like the dewdrop on the TLHS of the berry. It is one begging for a closeup.

Thank you Geoff! I was attracted to the brilliance of the berries but it was the dew drops that made this scene special for me.

Hi Binnur! Actually I did try to enhance the dew drops on the berries. I had to dampen the background some because it was so busy and the dew drops on the leaves were seriously competing with the berries!

The only other approach I could think of was a close up of the berries. Unfortunately they were hanging above my head and I didn't have a way to stabilize them. I also didn't have my DSLR with me which is much easier to focus close-ups with.

That would certainly make them 'pop'!

Yea, I was wishing I had my DSLR at that point!
