Rie, glad your up and about again. The second of the road images is the better for me but it matters not . These are all about the interest. It's a lovely house and what matters is that you have done it justice. Particularly beautiful colour saturation brings out the warmth of the rooms and the Fall colours - how's that for US/UK integration. "Fall" instead of "Autumn" but the "U" left in "Colours". This forum is getting to me.

John, you would have laughed at me as I took about 20 shots at different settings, just to get the first image. Either I got the interior right and the stained glass window was blown, or I got the window right and the interior way to dark. A wider angle lens would have been nice. i was working with my 24 - 105 and it was just not wide enough.

Been in that situation before, luckily I decided to take the UWA with me the last time it occurred, you might only need the lens for 3 out of 1000 shots but you are so much happier when you've got it.

I love the warm light on the second image !

The bow window is surely responsible for such light... perhaps it is facing north resulting in very soft tones.
