Re: And on this day.....
Good set Marie, you certainly took advantage of the colours.
My favourite here is No 2, there's something about the framing of it that works well.

Re: And on this day.....
Very interesting indeed, I could easily lose myself for some time in those surrounds.
The 2nd & 9th I find are my pick for storytelling value, but then the gorgeous winding road though the autumn landscape is lovely.
The only thing I would maybe do is crop it & get rid of all the sky.
I hope you continue on the road to better health Rie

Lovely shots Marie, all interesting in their own way. #2, #9 and #10 are my pick too. Looks like a nice place.

Re: And on this day.....
Nice series, first image needs a bit more of the décor, the cropped furniture acts as a distraction for me. The window capture was done very well. Similar thoughts on the second image.

Re: And on this day.....
Awww...Marie...this house has a beautiful interior. You just gave me an inspiration on how to do my fireplace just in time for Thanksgiving! The winding road with fall leaves is a favourite too...I can hardly choose which ones I like so I will just say I like them all...John had already said it -- the window shot in #1 is excellent too.

Glad to hear that you are feeling better. Fascinating architectural details! Every image has something of interest. Any idea what kind of a plant is in #7 Marie??

Re: And on this day.....
Dear Kay, thank you.
Being this ill has been a life changing experience.
I took several pictures of this road with different framing and I personally did not care for the cropped trees. However, here is one I did take without the sky. What do you think?

Thank you, Dave. Their home is just beautiful with the stained glass and classic old european style of antiques.

Hello Marie: This is a lovely old home and you have managed to capture the character so well. The decorated fireplace is just beautiful and the library window is awesome.

Re: And on this day.....
John, you would have laughed at me as I took about 20 shots at different settings, just to get the first image. Either I got the interior right and the stained glass window was blown, or I got the window right and the interior way to dark. A wider angle lens would have been nice. i was working with my 24 - 105 and it was just not wide enough.

Re: And on this day.....
Dear Izzie, thank you. This house is magnificent and impeccibly furnished. The current owners spare no expense to showcase its features.
The road i show is a public road. It is the way we get across the ridgeline to the house.

Thanks, Binnur. We really like where we live. We are only 7 minutes from the town below, but remote enough that we have some privacy.
