    Hi Izzie,

Halloween, something it seems they have just figured here can be used as another excuse to set off fireworks so we can have bangs every night through Diwali to Guy Forks on Nov 5th

Those are some massive pumpkins and make my attempt at growing some look pretty feeble.

Oh yes, it's No 3 for me, shows part of the spirit of the how Halloween is celebrated there.

    Good luck with the computer

Yes #3. I think it gives us pumpkin disbelievers proof that they exist, can be big and bright orange.... The girls add scale and human interest - a good set.

Geoff !!!! A gift from heaven!!! Thank you for your advice. That is what I forgot to change...I used to have SRGB even in my camera and when I load the images to Photoshop it changed it because I did not change the settings in ACR. After reading your comments I did but did not have a chance to edit anything yet. Will do so today, promise...Thank you...thank you...again. I truly appreciate your help.

Sure Marie...go right ahead. I know now that it is a matter of changing my settings. I tried to edit yesterday but it was one of those days...I will be getting a few of the leftover lollies and try making them into racing cars for Bill's birthday cake down the bottom of the cake...I will have to plan this well...he is getting old but I think I can hash up a few Mercedes Benz out of those leftovers...I promised him a good spread.

Jim (Ziggy) thank you for commenting...I think the pumpkins will still be there until Thanksgiving so you still have time... take some shots. It is really fun..

Thanks Frank for your comment. I am sure glad you are back again posting...

Grahame...I will get there and very soon it will be use-able. If I did not see Geoff's message, I would have ignored that dang machine. Did you know that there is an Acrobat software with CS4? and a whole suite took so much space so I did not install the whole thing this time because I have CS5 and CS6. I installed Acrobat but did not work properly until I reinstalled another software, so I just installed Photoshop. It worked. Then I installed CS5 and that is where I bonged on my edit of the pumpkin shots because I forgot to change my settings at ACR. I still have to install CS6 now...too many photos to edit, so little time in front of it...

Yes Kay...they grow that big! But I have not seen them in the supermarket that big. I buy the other small one because there are only two of us who eat pumpkin in this house and I like it with coconut milk in the recipe. Bill hates coconut milk because when he was in Jeddah, SA every vegetables has that oily taste and have to be soaked in water with clorox (similar to Pine-O-Clean), washed again then cooked differently, usually with coconut milk...Yukkkk!!!

Thank you Kay and Paul for commenting.. I really appreciate it very, very much. Love your comment...

    Dear Izzie,

Here is #2 back. All I did was to adjust the color temperature to a little bit cooler. Your picture is lovely. Thank you for allowing me to edit it.

Just in time for Halloween and Thanksgiving...

You have really captured the Halloween moment particularly in #3... Have never seen a crop of pumpkins so enjoyed these wonderful images.

Thanks 'Rie...that is really a nice edit...appreciate the help.

Dear Marie...I am glad you like my favourite too...I might be going to the airport after church today and see what I can capture there if it is open on a Sunday. The activities for the kids there are plentiful but will be settling down soon too. They are shut during winter time when they allowed their workers to go home for the holidays. Thank you for looking and commenting.
