With the image which is visible here, the ape seems a bit lost amongst the background foliage; but it looks much clearer and crisper when viewed at full screen size.
Yes it looks better at full screen size IMO it would look good in color, may I ask why you preferred B&W?
Nice shot.
Gorgeous image! Albeit I think it would be lovely to see in colour.
That does look like an aggressive individual, Gerry. I think the background needs to be toned down a bit to allow the ape to stand out more, though.
Hi Gerry , I certainly prefer the color one, very nice. IMO the whole image is a bit too bright, especially the plants in the BG. I think you can fix it with PP easily
After seeing your post about 40 stitches, it is better to stay away from them
+1 to all of Binnur's comment...like the colour one better.
John, this was the article I read the day after my visit.

Hi Gerry,
Just to say I prefer the colour version. Extra gorgeous in colour!
Yes John , they have just transferred some to Scotland to a safari park not quite ''the wild'' but better than the other option , a cull.

Your edit looks much better Gerry , I would throw the B&W away
