Greetings and congratulations on managing to post your image. Often uploading or linking to an image seems to be a problem for new members.
It is nice to add a few details on your profile so I know where in the world you are and your first name.
Sunset images are very popular photographs to take and need to be absolutely spectacular to get much comment. The sky in yours is pretty spectacular and the exposure handled reasonably well. You may find it works better if you crop out the little bits of unattached vegetation along both the top and bottom edges.

Welcome to CiC... You can find all sorts of great info in the tutorials at the top of the page...
Regarding this image... Having a subject other than just the sunset often increases interest of the image however, I tend to like my foreground points of interest in focus. This could have been accomplished by either focusing a bit closer and/or using a smaller aperture (larger f/ number). The smaller aperture increases the depth of field (DOF = point of nearest focus to point of furthest focus).Last edited by rpcrowe; 4th November 2014 at 12:38 AM.
