    Excellent series Mark.

The close ups are special but Monkey Business is the out and out winner for me.

Oh wow! These are all absolutely stunning, Thankyou so much for sharing them with us.
I agree the close up portraits are tremendous, my favourite being the zebra.

I look forward to more from this trip. These are excellent. Keep up the commentary too.

As for the advice about the nonphotographer spouse; I suspect I would be taking all my future trips alone, and living alone, if I went on safari and left my wife behind.

Also Thankyou for the advice about not taking the guided tours.. I asked about this in another thread & your first hand advice echoes the suspicions of others, so I will file that away for future reference.... Although with this forum & the beautiful results people share, I don't need to do any photography travel, it is all brought right here to me

Fabulous photography - you were very lucky to see the big five - I've seen them all now but it took 3 trips to do so and never all in the same trip.
Fortunately my husband love photography too, so we can go together. But please don't take your tripod in your hand luggage - its an offensive weapon according to Italian security who insisted we went back to check in to put it in the hold last time we tried that.

How did I miss these Mark (pointed to by Donald in your more recent post. Superb set of images. The word envy hardly covers it.
