I could do with one of those in my studio for setting up lighting. I suspect that they're cost less - AND - be more co-operative then my present models!
I like 3. It's well-executed, with a nice composition, and has a bit of a surreal feel. #4 has a nice concept, but there's too much shadow, I think. If there was more light, the crop might be right, might not.
Cheers,
Rick
Does she have a full-bodied older sister? Oh, sorry... wrong forum...
I think you've been in my medicine cabinet again. But I do like #1. And I'm struck by the presence of blood in some of your shots recently. Is that indicative of anything?
Maybe it's about time we had a new section for abstract/arty/weirdo stuff?I am not sure if these should be posted here. They can always be moved if not technically people or pet.
I like # 3 it is soooo Hollywood featureless facelifted people. I also like #5 the tears and tilted head suggest wounded pride. I would like #1 better without the camera. I like the shadows on the manequin - it looks alien.
Hi Steve,
I made up my mind that I liked #3 and #5 best and then noticed that I am in agreement with Wendy
I had one of these once, I wonder what happened to it, must go on an attic rumage ...
Hats next?
Cheers,
Thank you for all you comments. I am encouraged to play around with these a bit more.....did I hear a distant collective 'groan' from somewhere?
Definitely costs less. But very awkward about having the tear put in place with a dropper. It kept running off before I could get my hand out of the way and release the shutter. Not a bad idea for lighting setups I wonder if you can get skin tone versions....I will ask RobI suspect that they're cost less - AND - be more co-operative then my present models!
The blood does not indicate anything I can think of in my consciousness but I do have all sorts of flotsam and jetsam floating around in there so who knows. The idea was to place something in an image that you would not normally expect to see there. Blood on roses, blood for tears. You get the drift.Does she have a full-bodied older sister? I didn't think of that Wendy...interesting idea...maybe I could order a full sized one from the bring and buy on Rob's forum...I do wish he would stop sending me e-mails for viagra and extremity enlargements thoughit is soooo Hollywood featureless facelifted people.
Dave, not you too...I must get the address for this 'forum'I had one of these once, I wonder what happened to it, must go on an attic rumage ...
Am I that predictable?Hats next?
Cor; what would it look like with Kate whats her name.
Interesting, you have created a lot of drama with lighting and styrofoam.
