Grizzly

I went to Yellowstone NP last week and saw this Grizzly near Pelican Bay. Not the very best IQ plus the image is cropped quite a bit.

Good composition and exposure Steve,

I can appreciate that at that distance and being so 'behind the grass', it is all but impossible to get an accurate subject focus; AF or manual.

It still shows the bear and the surroundings well enough.

Hi Steve I wouldn't worry about the IQ . I like the composition and colors. As Dave mentioned above the image shows the bear and the surroundings well enough.

Steve -- I like this shot and thought you did very well in comp and sharpness...I also feel you are better off safe and can easily zoomed in to crop instead of zooming in to take the shot.
