Re: Anyone else photographing fungi?
Had a short trip out today, found a few usual suspects and a couple of these - Earthstars, so far this one is coming out as Geastrum rufescens, looking a bit worse for wear but still nice to see

Some interesting fungi there, Mark. And ones which I have yet to find.
I regularly find one or two Earth Balls (Scleroderma) but so far the Earth Stars have eluded me.

Re: Anyone else photographing fungi?
I must admit Geoff, I only find them at this one location. The fluted birds nest I will keep an eye on to get a better shot with the 'eggs' in. These were well past their prime, I know how they feel
