Hi Brian, perhaps the best way to get introduced to the Project 52 that was done in 2012 is to take a look at this link: Project 52: Index and FAQ.

Not only will you see the concept, but you can also locate everyone's Project 52 thread if you want to see how the members did. This wasn't a competition like any other at CiC. The goal was to compete with yourself to try to learn something new or improve some aspect of your personal photography each week. It is definitely a challenge just to come up with something to work on each week!

By the same token, it was a refreshing learning experience that we all benefitted from.

There is plenty of time to ask the Moderators to set one up for 2015 if there is enough interest.

This could aid my quest for self discipline. If you see this Dave I am interested.

I try to post one (shot or set )over the weekend and ditto on a Wednesday. Don't always manage it but mostly. Because my back catalogue isn't that large, it forces me to pick up the camera and get out - which I guess is the whole point.

I have been trying to keep the weekly photos idea alive but seem to be the only one 'still surviving'.

So I was going to ask for more volunteers during 2015. Maybe do some serious thinking about reviving the idea next month. Although, of course, anybody can start at anytime; it doesn't have to strictly follow an exact calendar year.

I think that a well organized thread, like the one of the last Project 52, will work perfectly even in 2015, and it will be much more useful for all the members than if every one starts by itself.
MAybe we can start a thread on the matter in General Photography Discussion category. So we will directly involve the Mods.
