Another splendid series! Very well done!
Nice series, I used to just photograph animals for the overall capture, now I really try to capture the gaze as well. Good examples.
Great images
Simply outstanding.
Thank you for sharing with all of us. Outstanding work.
Very good. Excellently composed as well as the perfect focus/exposure.
An excellent series. Every photo a delight to see.
Mark, this series again really sets the bar for animal photography.
5,6,10 and 12 can only be described as stunning.
Wonderful images Mark, very well captured!
Just great, 4,6 and 10 for mine. I feel that colour take something away from the pic.
Ole
#2 and 15th for me...the reflection of the deers with the little bird caught my attention on the 15th for me...and on #2, the two turtles seems to be rowing that log they are on.
Another beautifully shot set.
Enjoyed viewing.
This is a great set. I don't even know what all those critters are, but they're fun to look at. I like the water hole scenes, and photos of the zebras.
Trying to offer some critique, rather than just compliments, with a shot like #8, it might be a suggestion to either do a head portrait, or back off a little further try to frame it with a little more scenery around it, but I don't know, of course, whether that was possible given what lens (s) you had at the time.
Excellent series. Perhaps you could tell us about the gear you used to capture these neat shots...
Richard - You'll get the information you request in Mark's post, here, in the earlier thread of images from his trip to Africa.
Thanks for the link Donald, I was wondering the same thing.
The closest I'll ever come to animals such as these is the San Diego Zoo or Wild Animal Park. Great images.
These are indeed stunning, Thankyou again for taking the time to share them.
All great shots but my personal fav is the b/w of the Wildebeest. Love the gaze it's giving you.
