I wonder what daddy looks like?

Gina is about 3-4 weeks old and is the survivor of a pair of puppies. Her brother died in the shelter before we rescued Gina and her mom.



Her mom is a Maltese-Poodle mix. Mom is super protective. She will come over to me to be petted and fed when she is not with her puppy but, will attempt to bite me if I get near the pup. Judy has completely won the mom over and can even pick up the puppy. Gina is a dark brindle with a coarse terrier-like coat. We wonder what the dad could be...



These three pups are siblings, also Maltese-Poodle mixes. We named them Manny, Moe and Jack after an auto supply store: Pep Boys. Don't ask me which is which. They are only six-weeks old and were separated from their mother quite early. They are now past eating puppy formula and are gobbling down a gruel made from ground puppy kibble and water. They are quite healthy and are becoming very human oriented.







This is Daisy. She is about a year old (according to the vet) and we got her from Hope for Paws to foster and to find a home. Hope for Paws is the organization that rescued Elmer and Elsie from the junk yard where they were living. Elmer and Elsie Being rescued I am not quite sure what Daisy's genes include. Perhaps long haired dachshund and either Maltese or Shih Tsu. She weighs twelve pounds and has a light buff to almost golden coat. Women would kill for that color hair...
