    35Ti

I know I should be out shooting with it and not shooting it but I needed a shot for FaceBook and I thought I would share. I have this on long term loan from a very good friend and I have to say I have fallen in love with it.....again....as I sold them when they were new but could never afford one.

    Nice shot.
What is it about it that you like?
I can imagine the portability is one thing.
I frequently take pictures of my cameras as I find they don't complain the way other subjects do at times when I take too long to get the shot.

What do I like - the lens is supremely sharp, the titanium build is gorgeous, it has a nice weight and the display isn't your usual LCD or nasty flashy lights it has the most exquisite set of analogue dials, a little like a well made Swiss watch:

And it is simply stunning to look at....which doesn't really make it operate better - but - would you just look at it

I admit it, I'm a 'gearaholic'. I wonder if Nikon ever put that lens in a digital body.
Can you imagine that same camera as a digital today?

I would love them to do that and I would love Contax to be resurrected and release a Contax G Digital, still regret selling my G1 outfit.

Ps. The close up is from Google but the top shot of the camera is mine.

    Re: 35Ti

Lately I've been mixing 'old' with 'new' if you will. I've found film to be too pricey for the amount of pictures I'd like to take so I'm digital for the most part now.

    Re: 35Ti

The price of developing became prohibitive so I went digital and never looked back either. The learning curve is a little bit steep at first but as I learn to read the manual, it gets easier...nice shot of it, Robin...

    Re: 35Ti

I'm a total digital convert, have been from well back in its development but I still enjoy the fun of running a film through one of my older cameras.

If you havent shot film for a while give it a go if for no other reason than its a bit of a laugh.
