Went out to take advantage of the overcast sky today.. I just wish this area had more of a variety of color.

this one was about a 10 sec at f32 .. not sure whether it should be monochrome or not .. any comments and brutal criticism are welcome.

We have a cold front coming through this week, dropping the temp from the 40's to single digits, plus about 6 inches (or a bunch of cm .. for those in the rest of the world) of snow.

Good set Mathew, I like the colour, it's unusual.

Do you know what has caused the copper colour to the rocks as clearly seen in No 2?

Nice, could work as B & W, but if those are natural colors then good to present as is.

#1 is very nice because it is as natural red as you can get...although I like the #2 edit because you brought up the depth of the shot in it...more pronounced. #3 edit looks a bit the "muddy" interpretation. Just a thought...

Wyoming is a beautiful place. 'Been there many times, especially around the small town of Sheridan and surrounds, watching live rodeos in the summers. But it is too cold...too near the vicinity of Santa Claus' (Canada) residence. No brutal criticism here because I am very biased. Wyoming has a lot of photo ops especially early mornings.

Hi Matthew, I like your second crop but if it was mine I would crop the big rock at the bottom too I wonder about the copper color as Grahame does.

Was a ND filter used for the shots? Just wondering if that may have caused a red cast.

    Re: tranquil creek

so in the first set the temp outside was around 40 F (about 5c for rest of the world) the cold front came in temp dropped to 4ish F (-15c) and i thought Wow i'll go back .. i took 4 shots very quickly for a before and after .... I figured i would see what i had when i got home..... and yes my wife just shuck her head and said something about me being nuts. This one was at about 4:30 pm getting dark and a light snow falling and i hoped for the best

this would be the second of the original posted pictures I thought about doing the first one but It was Cold
