This shot was taken in Guahati, Assam, India at a Hindu temple to the god Shiva. Shiva is the "destroyer", and blood sacrifices are made to the god. Animals as large as water buffalo are beheaded by one of the priests.
This shot shows the priest walking away from the part of the temple where the sacrifices are performed, holding his axe. And yes, we did see a number of headless. sacrificed animals in and near the temple.
