Jim I really like this one and I know from experience how hard these types of scenes are to photograph. The focal length is key and I think that you got the balance between the plants and the amount of foreground and background just about right. To close and you lose the sense of the whole scene and to far away you lose the subject...
Did you take any with a slower shutter speed to show more of a sense of movement?

Somebody already mentioned the nice comp, so I will not....I viewed this in lytebox and was quite surprised at the green grass in the foreground, how sharp and beautiful the colour translates to. Well done.
