A beautiful animal and nicely captured. I like the backlighting.
Cool, as common as deer are, I don't see a big buck like this very often-(if ever actually ) and the image quality is not bad. I'm usually picky about the backgrounds of images getting grainy after sharpening. Depending on what software you're using, you can probably do something to keep that from happening.
Nicely captured.
That is a fine example of what I would guess is a six y/o stag...rare to have avoided hunters that long.
Great shot!
The background is unfortunately a little bit distracting, but not overly serious; and a nice expression on his face.
I think the buck makes the photo and the rest is not important to me , very nice
Nice one Jim!
Beautiful animal, nicely captured, Jim. Cheers,
Yes I like this very well.
Jim...that is a nice white tailed buck but I have a problem with his body -- I have been moving it in lytebox and I think that cropping it a little bit to the right will make a better presentation. Nice expression on his face.
Very nice Jim!
Jim, great shot! Classic buck shot. To me the background is in no way distracting and adds to the atmosphere of the photo. As for the crop, I prefer your first image, I think the greater length of the back adds to the regal look. Only thing I would suggest is maybe cloning out those few little twigs on the back of the buck.
Awesome shot. Great wildlife photo. Background is fine.
Great hot!
If I may contribute to it, the first thing that we all look at are the eyes and the face. In this case, they are too dark and the face is not very well lit. I would suggest just applying some light there to make the face to stand up.
Thanks.

The second is a perfect crop. Thank you for amusing me (catering to my request.) It looks more like a better composition.
Noting easy about getting a shot of a buck like that considering he's probably been dodging bullets and broad heads for a couple season now if not more. Great job indeed and nice "trophy" capture! Love those stickers at the bases.
You are welcome Izzie and glad you like the edit.
Thanks all for the comments and feedback, appreciated.
