    Today's Colours

A very cold overcast afternoon on the Bay. The sky was cloudy but there was enough light for a decent shot. Many of the leaves have fallen but enough remained on the trees for a colourful shot. f9, ISO 200, 50mm 1/200", Canon T2i. C & C welcome

Nicely captured, the only thing I dislike about images in this kind of weather is the bland looking skies, but they are what they are and a part of nature.

Nice shot Joe, I agree with the skies part.

You've got to shoot at the right time, cliche sunsrise or sunset or just before a storm is about to his is my favourite

Joe, this is a very nice shot...sorry about the skies but we take what we got and run away with it. I particularly like this shot for the curve of the trees on the left side...very elegant and appropriate to the tree at the right side. The water feature is also very right but I missed the top of the tree on the right side...or is that the central tree because the willow (I think) is exactly at the right side and doesn't exactly belong to the tree in the middle?

I agree that a beautiful sky would have made this shot more beautiful, but it was not there. I try to work with what is there, to see and capture what beauty I find. Maybe some other time I will be fortunate and find a sunset with beautiful fall colours .....

Thanks Izzie! Yes, the tree on the right is a willow and it does not belong to the one in the centre . I will take another look to see if I cropped too much from the top.
