Really a great capture. B&W was a good choice also - don't think they would have had the same pop in color.

I like the first shot,Joanne. The tonal range creates a sense of drama and teh expression allows the reader to wonder what she is thinking about. I would like a little more space on the left, though.
The lighting in the 2nd shot seems a bit flat in comparison to the first and doesn't convey the same mood for me.
