Nicely captured, the warmth of the flowers overshadow the butterfly but shape recognition helps the composition.
If you remove the white objects in the right background, it will probably direct attention more to the moth.
The flower on the left hand side is striking, Jim. It can be just on its own without the moth and it will still be OK. The inclusion of the moth here is almost incidental, I should say...I am more attracted by the flower on the left. Just to keep you thinking further, does this say anything to you?
Beautiful image Jim I agree with Greg about cloning the white objects on the right side. IMO the flower on the left and the moth on the right complete each other well. Nice composition and colors.
Thanks all for the comments and the feedback and I agree about the clone out of the white blobs.
You must like flowers more than bugs.
Not clear on what your point is?
Hard to believe just a few weeks ago I took this and last night and today we had 4"-5" of snow and the temperatures are on the way down to low of 10 degrees Fahrenheit tonight with a wind chill of 0. Welcome to Ohio.
