Re: Trespasser
Nice captures, Janis! Particularly the last three. I wish I could fumble that well!

Re: Trespasser
Pshaw, Frank. I highly doubt you are as clumsy as me.
Yes, Jim, they are lovely creatures aren't they? I am amazed at how they can occupy such small habitat as the patch of woods behind our cottage or the narrow ribbon of riverbank a couple of blocks from me here in the city.
Thanks, Greg and John; your feedback is always appreciated.

Re: Trespasser
What a lovely looking animal. Wish I had them around here. Fumble away Janis. You're not doing a bad job.

Re: Trespasser
I love your backyard...and the critters in it and your photographs. I do want to make a comment. Is it my eyes/monitor or do they all have a bit of a green hue to them.
The little buck is what we call "button buck" or "nubbin' buck". Since this is the first year he's budding antlers. You can barely see them.

Re: Trespasser
Dave, I've been wondering about the colour myself; what say the rest of you?
Thanks for passing on the info; I especially love that name "button buck".

Re: Trespasser
I see how you could think there was green tinting in these images, but you have to realize that light really can have different tints, so it's not too much in my opinion. The last in your set was especially nice.

Re: Trespasser
Thanks, Carol.
And thanks for your input, Nick. I really need to get disciplined about taking a proper white balance.
